St Emilion Chateau Angelus "1er Grand Cru Classe" 2011 RP94
Size: 750 ml     SKU: GCFR-R6-9002

Varietals: Merlot (60%) Cabernet Franc (40%)

Professional Review: A great success for proprietor Hubert de Bouard, the 2011 Angelus came in at 14.5% natural alcohol (keep in mind that this is supposedly a challenging vintage - and it was), and 75% of the production made it into the top label. The remainder was declassified into a second label or was sold off in bulk. Yields were a low 30 hectoliters per hectare, and the final blend was 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc. The color is a typical dense blue/purple, and the nose offers up wonderful notes of black raspberries, blueberries, flowers, vanillin and spice box. With authority, velvety tannin, good extract and glycerin, this rich, pure, beautifully textured St.-Emilion should drink well for 20+ years.- Wine Advocate/Parker

St Emilion Chateau Valentin Larmande 2012
Size: 750 ml     SKU: CRFR-R-301410

Varietals: Merlot (85%) Cabernet Sauvignon (15%)

Tasting Notes: Color is purple red, deep and bright, and the nose expresses soft spices melted with red fruit. Wine Making: Winemaking process is soft and long, respecting the Saint-Emilion philosophy, in order to extract the best merlot character, its fruit with an exceptional structure, so much characteristic of the best Saint-Emilion great wines.

St Emilion Grand Cru Pavillon Vieux Taillefer 2012
Size: 750 ml     SKU: BGFR-R-201210

Varietals: Merlot (90%) Cabernet Franc (10%)

Vinification: Using only 100% manual harvest from vines 35+ years old placed in to 35kg boxes, the grapes are then sorted on a table then vinified, whole berries, in frustoconical concrete tanks. A week long cold pre-fermentation of un-trampled grapes is followed by fermentation, using only indigenous yeast, lasting up to 2 weeks to preserve the fruit expression and to avoid over extraction, then aged in 2-3 old French Oak for 12 months.
