Size: 750 ml     SKU: STOR-R-20005310

Tasting notes : The barrels announce themselves early with aromas of cocoa powder and nutmeg among hints of ripe plum, blueberry, pomegranate and blueberry, joined by a pinch of leaf and fresh leather. Its rich entry to the palate brings fresh Marionberry and sweet blueberry juice, followed by a dark edge of chocolate and black licorice. Rich blueberry skin tannins add structure while good acidity brings freshness, and there’s a fascinating herbal character in the finish.

Brilliant purple-red color. Lovely, spice- and mineral-accented aromas of black raspberry and cherry, with a subtle smoky nuance emerging as the wine opens in the glass. Silky, lithe and precise on the palate, offering gently sweet red and dark berry flavors that stretch out and deepen with air. Finishes with noteworthy thrust, striking clarity and fine- grained tannins.

Stangeland Pinot Noir 2015 Double Gold Medal
Size: 750 ml     SKU: STOR-R-2000610

Varietal: Pinot Noir

Professional Review: "Brilliant ruby-red. Lively, precise scents of fresh red berries, allspice, incense and candied flowers, with a subtle orange pith nuance coming up with air. Pure and alluringly sweet, offering intense raspberry and rose pastille flavors underscored by a smoky mineral quality that adds focus. Quite lithe for the vintage, finishing with strong punch, supple tannins and excellent floral persistence."
